Institutional relations

SA is distinguished by an interpretation of institutional relations activity focused on the founding principles:
  • transparency
  • professionalism
  • impartiality
  • long-term vision
Gabriele Cirieco, and therefore SA, believes deeply in the positive value of lobbying: when it is conducted in compliance with the listed principles, it represents an important, and sometimes essential, contribution of information and assessments for the democratic and transparent operation of the decision-making machine. Lobbying informs decision makers on all aspects involved in the adoption of a particular policy or a single measure. Competition from more players in the lobbying field contributes to a higher degree of publicity and transparency in the decision-making process, reducing the space for “not informed” or “not perfectly transparent” decisions. Correct, timely, and appropriate lobbying is a valuable aid for decision-makers, political or technical, and thus helps to create a trusting relationship between the bearer of the message and he who receives it. Continuous and active lobbying is the best tool available to a private entity to construct a platform for dialogue with the political world. When appropriate, SA suggests a strategic communication plan to closely accompany the lobbying activity.
